Trust Through Verification

ProfileSity uses layered verification to help users identify trustworthy profiles. Verification confirms that specific checks were completed at a particular time — it is not an endorsement, guarantee or permanent certification.

Verification Levels

Level 1: Email Verified

The registered email address has been confirmed through a verification link or code. This is the basic level required for all accounts.

Level 2: Contact Verified

The registered phone number and contact information have been confirmed through SMS verification or callback. This adds an additional layer of account security.

Level 3: Institution Verified

The university, agency or professional identity has been reviewed by the ProfileSity team. This includes document verification, registration checks and may include video verification.

Additional Badges

Alumni Verified

Confirmed alumni status with a specific institution.

Authorised Partner

Agency authorised by specific universities to recruit students.

Test Score Verified

Test scores verified through official score reporting services.

Identity Verified

Government-issued ID verified through secure identity checks.

What Verification Does NOT Mean

Verification is NOT an endorsement of quality or outcomes
Verification does NOT guarantee admission or visa approval
Verification does NOT represent accreditation status
Verification does NOT guarantee financial stability
Verification is NOT permanent and may be removed

Verification Process

Submit required documents through your account settings
Our verification team reviews submissions within 3-5 business days
Additional information may be requested if needed
Upon approval, verification badges are displayed on your profile
Periodic re-verification may be required to maintain badges

Badge Removal

ProfileSity may suspend, downgrade or remove verification badges when:

Documents expire or become invalid
Control of the account or organisation changes
Complaints or reports are substantiated
Information appears unreliable or falsified
Re-verification requirements are not met
