Terms of Service

Effective Date: Upon Launch | Last Updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance and Contracting Party

These Global Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and ProfileSity. "ProfileSity", "we", "us" and "our" mean ProfileSity and any local affiliate identified in a checkout page, order form, partner agreement or Legal Information page for the relevant service.

By creating an account, clicking acceptance, accessing a paid feature, submitting an application, registering for an event or continuing to use the platform after notice of an update, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated into them.

Where you use ProfileSity on behalf of a university, agency, employer, event organiser, course provider, transport provider or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. What ProfileSity Provides

ProfileSity is a global education technology platform connecting students, universities, education agencies, advisors, alumni, mentors, course providers, event organisers, service providers and approved ecosystem participants.

Depending on country, plan and rollout stage, ProfileSity may provide university and program discovery, verified profiles, AI-assisted matching, student readiness analysis, application workflows, document sharing, messaging, virtual expos, live sessions, interviews, assessments, courses, payments, advertising, lead referrals, marketplace listings and pickup bookings.

3. ProfileSity Is a Technology Platform

ProfileSity is not a university, admissions authority, visa authority, embassy, examination authority, accreditation body, law firm, financial institution, immigration adviser, employment agency or transport operator unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.

Universities, agencies, advisors, sellers, buyers, course providers, event hosts and transport providers are independent parties. They are responsible for their own information, decisions, licences, services, pricing, taxes, representations and legal compliance.

ProfileSity does not guarantee admission, enrolment, scholarships, visa approval, examination results, employment, course outcomes, item quality, transport availability, response rates or commercial conversion.

4. Eligibility and Age

ProfileSity is not intended for children under 13. Users between 13 and 17 may use age-appropriate features only with parent or guardian involvement where required by local law.

Where local law applies a higher age of digital consent or treats every person under 18 as a child for data-processing purposes, ProfileSity may require verifiable parent or guardian consent before creating or continuing an account.

Users under 18 cannot act as university administrators, agency owners, commercial sellers, pickup providers or purchasers of legally restricted services. ProfileSity may apply stricter age rules by country or feature.

5. Accounts and Security

  • Provide accurate, complete and current information.
  • Use only accounts you are authorised to control.
  • Protect passwords, authentication codes and devices.
  • Notify ProfileSity promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
  • Complete reverification when requested.
  • Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

6. User Roles and Responsibilities

6.1 Students

Students are responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of personal, academic, financial, identity and application information. Students must review applications before submission and must not provide forged, altered or misleading documents.

6.2 Universities and Educational Institutions

Universities must be authorised to advertise the programs they publish, maintain current fees and requirements, assign staff access only to authorised personnel, protect applicant information, and ensure final admissions decisions are made by appropriately authorised human personnel.

6.3 Agencies and Advisors

Agencies and advisors must hold required licences, disclose charges, advertise institutions only where authorised, obtain student permission before submitting applications, protect student documents and avoid guaranteeing admissions, visas or scholarships.

6.4 Providers, Organisers and Sellers

Course providers, event organisers, marketplace sellers and pickup providers are responsible for accurate descriptions, lawful services, required licences, safety, taxes, refunds and performance of their obligations.

7. Verification and Badges

ProfileSity may display email, phone, identity, institution, alumni, authorised-partner, test-score or other verification indicators. Verification confirms only that specified checks were completed at a particular time.

A badge is not an endorsement, guarantee, accreditation, admission promise, financial assurance or permanent certification. ProfileSity may suspend, downgrade or remove a badge when documents expire, control changes, complaints arise or information appears unreliable.

8. Applications and Admissions

Students may apply directly or through an approved agency where enabled. Application submission does not mean that the application is complete, accepted or eligible.

Application status information may depend on participating universities or agencies and can be delayed. Final admission, scholarship and enrolment decisions belong to the relevant institution.

Universities and agencies must not materially change a student application without the student's knowledge and authorisation.

9. AI-Assisted Features

ProfileSity may provide readiness scores, program matching, document checks, application summaries, writing assistance, event recommendations, intent scoring, moderation flags, fraud indicators and operational recommendations.

AI outputs are advisory. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for a particular person. ProfileSity does not permit a final admission, scholarship, visa, disciplinary or account-termination decision to be made solely by an AI output where human review is legally or operationally required.

Users may correct underlying data, request an explanation of major score factors and request human review of a materially significant automated result through available support channels.

10. Payments, Taxes and Billing

ProfileSity may process charges for subscriptions, courses, events, tickets, promotions, featured booths, lead unlocks, application services, marketplace services, pickup bookings and other enabled features.

Prices, currency, taxes, recurring charges and material conditions will be shown before purchase. Payments may be processed by third-party providers. ProfileSity generally does not store complete card numbers.

Users are responsible for applicable taxes and valid payment methods.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProfileSity is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. ProfileSity does not warrant that information is always complete, every user is trustworthy, every integration will remain available or every recommendation will achieve the desired result.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Contact

ProfileSity may update these Terms for legal, security, product or commercial reasons. Material changes will be communicated through the platform, email or another reasonable channel.
